2‘nd Cyprus Economic Summit 2016 was organized by Creditwest Bank in collaboration with the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce and the North Cyprus Banking Association.

The Summit held two panels titled “The Integration Process of Cypriot Banking Sector into the European Union” and ‘The Financial Climate after the Resolution: Adaptation with the Normalized Economic Status and Expectations’ with high participation of experts from Cyprus and Turkey.

Many politicians, representatives from the banking sector, businessmen, academicians and participants from Turkey and Southern Cyprus attended the Summit.

The opening speech of the Summit was given by the President of the TRNC Mustafa Akıncı and the United Nations’ Special Adviser on Cyprus Espen Barth Eide’s Summit video was shown at the opening of the Summit.
