With its social responsibility awareness and with an aim to create a cleaner Cyprus, to raise awareness among the youth and to influence the effective management of waste, Creditwest Bank announced its ‘Recyprus’ project for the first time in September 2016 in cooperation with the American College.

The project was designed to raise awareness among the youth on the effective separation and recycling of the waste and is carried out in cooperation with Greenwise Cyprus Company and Little Society of Kyrenia Association. The income received via the efficient management and recovery of waste in the economy, will be donated to the SOS Children’s Village.

The teachers and students of American College are participating as volunteers in the project and the first stage of the project is aimed at paper, plastic and metal recycling.

The project aims to create a cleaner Cyprus by influencing other schools.
